- Take 1 cup yellow moong dal

- Make ready as needed Water
- Prepare Salt as per taste
- Prepare For topping:-
- Get 1/2 cup tomatoes deseeded and chopped
- Get 1/4 cup radish grated
- Take 1 tbsp ginger julienned
- Take 1/2 cup onions finely chopped
- Make ready 1/4 cup carrot grated
- Get 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- Take 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- Take 2 cup Indian padi/crackers/tortilla chips
- Take 2 tsp lime juice
- Get 1 tbsp chaat masala
- Make ready 4-5 tbsp mint garlic coriander chutney
- Get 2 tbsp butter
- Make ready 2 tbsp muradabadi masala
- Get 1/4 cup boondi
- Prepare 2 tbsp mint leaves
- Get 1/4 cup coriander leaves
- Get 2 tbsp dry garlic chutney
- Make ready 1/4 cup fine sev
- Take 3 tbsp sweet chutney
- Make ready 1 pinch kala namak
Steps to make Chaat Muradabadi:
- For dal:- Rinse and soak the yellow moong dal in the water for atleast an hour and discard the water.
- Add the dal into a pressure cooker and add water, salt, haldi and ghee and put the lid on.
- Let it cook on medium heat for two whistle. Let it release naturally and open the lid.
- For masala:- Lightly roast and grind all the ingredients in a grinder.
- For chutney:- Firstly collect all the ingredients. And coarsely grind and adjust seasoning when done.
- Assemble the chaat:- when it's time to serve the dish heat the dal to a boil.
- In a serving bowl crush padi and ladle in the warmer dal.
- Add a little a bit of every topping on top one by one. And the dish is ready to serve.
