The ingredients needed to make Egg Chop:
  1. Make ready 6 Boiled Aloo/potatoes
  2. Prepare 4 boiled eggs
  3. Prepare as needed Oil for deep frying
  4. Take Aloo masala
  5. Take 3 Onions Medium size (chopped)
  6. Get 1 Tomato (chopped)
  7. Prepare 2 teaspoon Ginger garlic and green chillies paste
  8. Take 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala powder
  9. Get 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  10. Make ready 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  11. Get 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  12. Prepare 4 Tablespoon Mustard oil
  13. Get Batter
  14. Prepare 5 Tablespoon gram flour
  15. Get 1/2 teaspoon salt
  16. Take 1 pinch turmeric powder
  17. Prepare 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  18. Take 1 pinch Soda
  19. Take 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  20. Get 2 tsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  21. Take 1 pinch Ajwain/Carom seeds
  22. Get 1/2 Cup Water
  23. Prepare 3 Tablespoon Poha (soaked)
  24. Make ready 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
Instructions to make Egg Chop:
  1. Turn on the heat place a pan. Pour there oil. Let the smoke comes. Then add cumin seeds. Add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chillies paste.
  2. Cook it for 4 mins in Medium flame. Then add turmeric powder, chaat masala powder, little salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder and stir it. Then add mashed potatoes. Cook it for 2 mins. Let the masala coat well. Turn off the flame. Then at last add garam masala and coriander leaves. Also poha and bread crumbs. Mix it well.
  3. Cool the Masala completely. Then prepare the batter. Take a mixing bowl, pour Gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, soda, ajwain and water. The batter must be little thick.
  4. Heat the oil for deep frying. In the mean time start making egg balls as shown in the photos. Take Aloo masa on to your palm. In the middle of it Egg and again Aloo masala. Coat it all over well. Then dip on the Gram flour mix and deep fry it. If one side done then flip to other side. Also to it's side. Repeat in making others.
  5. Then cut it into two parts and enjoy it with Tomato ketchup.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
