Steps to make Spicy Egg Devil:
  1. Peel the hardboiled eggs and slice them into half lengthwise. Boil potatoes and mash. There should not be any lumps in it. Add 1 tbsp gram flour to it. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion till translucent. Also, add green chilies while frying.
  2. Add the mashed potato, ginger garlic paste, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, chopped coriander, salt, and a pinch of sugar to taste. Fry the mashed potato mix till light brown.Sprinkle garam masala and chaat masala.Mix well and toss. Set aside to cool.
  3. Divide the potato mix into 8 balls. Press 1 ball like a cup and place half an egg in it. Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper over it and cover the egg with the potato coating. Make a slurry of cornflour and maida. Dip each egg devil in the slurry and double coat to make them crispy. Refrigerate for an hour before frying.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the devilled eggs till crispy from outside and soft inside. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a teatime snack with salad and tomato sauce.
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
